Indeed so much has changed and shifted since the last update- both at KDE and the world at large.

We had a lovely anniversary celebration with many good friends joining the festivities. It’s always nice to gather here with numerous kindred spirits. It gives us an experiential glimpse of what things can/will be like when we are closer to the actual number of people with whom we envision sharing this journey.

Here at KD we are continually encouraged by the interest and support we are receiving. And we would like to take this opportunity to again express our deep gratitude towards all of you who have helped us with your kind words, your generous donations and, of course, the many enthusiastic volunteers who flow through our community leaving sparks of their spirits in the gardens, the dwellings and our childrens' eyes- you know who you are ;-).

2007 will certainly be recalled as a pivotal year in KD history. After more than five years of patiently and tirelessly working to lay the foundations of a self-sufficient spiritual community, the fruits have started to bear…. Or should we say, erupt.

It is with deep gratitude to the Universe that we share with you our latest progressions… And what progress!
The synchronistic events of dwellings nearing completion and new ones being started, expanding the veggie garden, the access road repair and the articles in the Biophile magazine on ecovillages and KD, have all conspired to helping manifest our calling for new members. The energetic pathway is clear and we’re being flooded with light!

Welcome again! Besides some nice new pictures we have also posted our latest version of the vision statement and added a personal touch to it. The last months have been great (what's new!) with steady work done on dwellings and more recently a thorough upgrade of our access road.
A special thanks to all beautiful friends who have visited us over the last years and have been sharing and helping out Khula Dhamma so selflessly!

With the summer rains still falling our growth continues at a steady and strengthening pace. As nighttime balances daytime we pause to reflect upon the lessons brought by such a bountiful summer.

The past months have certainly been the busiest ever at KD. It's exciting to see how much work gets done when there are twelve adults (volunteers and visitors included), and one four-year boy whose insatiable thirst for work was an inspiration to us all!
